Based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Carbon Project Solutions is an innovative carbon management and project development company, helping the Carbon Market grow since 2006. Utilizing the most effective standards, we work with companies, organizations and government to maximize their potential in the fight against climate change.
Joseph Pallant, B.Sc. MBA - President & CEO
Active in the Carbon Market since 2004 and a life-long seeker of environmental solutions, Joseph is passionate about the role of business in solving the problem of climate change.
Completing a B.Sc. in Biology and Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria, Joseph went on to earn a post graduate diploma in Latin American Management from the McRae Institute of International Management and an MBA from INSEEC, Paris, France. It was during a work semester, wrangled with a Carbon Market pioneer, that he learned the role of carbon finance in focusing efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions while fostering clean development and protecting the environment.
Joseph is grateful for his opportunity to play a role in the development of the global Carbon Market. Building pioneering offset projects, contributing to the development of strong standards, and helping society understand the role of ecosystem-based projects in halting climate change is very fulfilling work. He looks forward to the challenge of building these tools into the global mainstream as society confronts the threats of climate change and begins the transition to a low carbon way of being.

Tim Tewsley, BA, LEED AP - Director of Carbon Management
Tim is part of the Carbon Project Solutions team, with responsibilities in carbon footprint analysis, sustainable operations management and the built environment.
Witnessing waste and inefficiency stemming from poor building design while working in property management, Tim's interest in green building was sparked. Subsequent projects have included being the project manager on a heritage retrofit near Vancouver’s Downtown East Side which was the recipient of the Vancity/Real Estate board Green Building Grant.
Complementing his work in the built environment, Tim is active in promoting sustainable transportation and has taught numerous workshops on climate change to children around the lower mainland.
In addition to his work with CPS, Tim currently manages green building rating services for a local LEED service provider and performs rating & testing on green buildings in the lower mainland of British Columbia.
Julie Geremia, BBA - Customer Relationship Management & Employee Development
Julie Geremia completed her BBA at the University of Regina where she majored in Human Resource Management. While studying she did a semester exchange at the University of Hawaii at Hilo where she discovered a deeper more meaningful relationship between humans and the earth through a Hawaiian studies class. Ever since, she has been interested in environmental issues and the role people can take to help preserve the environment.
Julie is excited to be part of the CPS team and to help with the organizational development of this blossoming company. She is responsible for rolling out the CRM programming and preparing the company to expand its client relationships.
